Sonic Rush Nintendo DS game SEGA
SONIC RUSH by Sega is a traditional side-scrolling adventure for the Nintendo DS featuring Sonic the Hedgehog. Once again, players have to take down Dr. Eggman, retrieve the Chaos Emeralds, and save the universe. However, there are a few interesting twists that make SONIC RUSH unique. The biggest of these twists is the intervention of an interdimensional rift. This rift has caused an alternate-dimension version of Eggman, called Eggman Nega, to appear in Sonic s world. Blaze the Cat has also appeared with his Sol Emeralds, an alternate version of Sonic and the Chaos Emeralds. Players can select to play as either Sonic or Blaze, and each has his own unique storyline. Blaze, like Sonic, can move incredibly fast. Both he and Sonic can speed through levels, use a dash attack against enemies, and perform tricks to refill their dash meters. Both have unique moves as well: Blaze can hover in midair and Sonic has a special dash attack. The dual screens of the DS are in full use in SONIC RUSH as characters are catapulted up to the top and then fall back down to the lower screen. Players can also use the stylus and touch screen on certain levels to control Sonic and Blaze as they shoot through pipes, bounce on trampolines, and more. Fans of Sonic won't want to miss his newest adventure. The use of the DS s features, the new characters, and the Sonic high-speed action all combine to make SONIC RUSH a great game.
